About Us

We are a diverse group of individuals with all varying ethnic backgrounds that agreed on the experiences we had when we traveled. Often we would be faced with disappointments for pre-arranged experiences and tours booked online that are often packaged for large groups. It did not seem real, authentic and the guides that are often time pressured and too focused on moving from one point to the next rather than enjoying their time with you and providing the best experiece.

As a result we created TravelMod which is focused on allowing the hosts to fully customise, manage experiences (such as tours) and interact with the potential travellers that would like to find out more about the activities so that both hosts and travelers know what to expect of each other. There is a chat ability in addition to where you can add your friends and favourite hosts. You know the activities and experience will be fully worth it because you know what to expect on the day!

So what is so different about us vs other travel online companies? 

• We want to ensure that we help both hosts and travellers by helping them connect through experiences prior to the trip so that you don't have to be nervous about any of the details before your experience;
• We want to influence and add positive change to our society. Through directly helping our host communities that are more vulnerable or have limited access to networks by helping share their experiences and providing ability to self-manage sustainable income source with full transparency

Our purpose is to create a new circular economy of travel industry through reinvesting back into the community which will add more unique and enjoyable experiences that will help the industry to grow sustainably, responsibly and ethically.
