Once you have registered and become a host, you can start creating activities by logging in as a host. As a host, you can get subsets of webpages that you can manage where you are able to create, modify, delete/hold activities in addition to analytics capability of being able to monitor the cash flow over time, visits/booking data and ability to respond/chat to queries by other users. Host is not necessarily just a tour guide but are those that have activities (e.g. events, workshop, service) to share with others.
As you have the full ability to write out, upload pictures, set pricing as well as write out any policies for refund or special conditions, provide as much information as possible with clarity in order to raise more interest from travellers. For the pricing, TravelMod will take a percentage of the total sales price to recover our operating expenses and taxes as per the regulation. However, we intentionally aim to keep our rates low compared to other competitiors in the market with aims to give back to our hosts and keep the activities sustainable.
You will be able to modify or create new activities and complete them at the time you want by setting these up on our platform. While you focus on developing and providing the best activities and experiences, TravelMod team will continue to find more travellers that are interested in them. This allows you as a host to spend time on what you do best.
As TravelMod operate review system that is cyclic, as a host you will not only receive the rating and review from travellers, but you will also be able to leave review for other travellers. TravelMod will not dictate the activities you conduct and arrange (unless you breach our Terms & Conditions or that there are continued complaints/disputes from users based on justified reasons) as we intend to provide you with the platform with ability to grow for yourself as if this was your own business.
